I remember than I success, but that was long time ago and with previous JOB, so I don't have the code anymore.

Basically, I use the samples listed here.

but you need to have installed and activated the 'VISION' module, it is not free.

if you have it installed, maybe I can help you.

I'm sure you can find a better solution for this, now the OCR systems are accurate compared with 7 years ago.

the VI's than I make "work", was not totally accurate, even for a simple 8.8.8.8. display,  I can not imagine if you need to read CAPS, lower case letters, numbers, special characters etc.
