hello
i want to make a gui in which i glow LED,s via boolean switches and i want to serially communicate with rs232 and 8051 .4 leds are at p 2.0 p2.1 p2.2 and p2.3 when i presses button 1 led at p2.1 glows than similarly with other button as well .what does string means and why we convert into it ...8-bit data transmit serially to rs232 and comes with low and high logic.how can i come up with 4 different but logic high signals to microcontroller at different pins so by doing setb command i can glost the required port which i want.please assist with VI code also i have limited knowledge of hardware as well so wat hardware will be used???
