I feel really, really confident that at some point in the tutorials, a case structure was mentioned. Please try to think things through and get rid of some of your own rubbish. Get my point?

Hi Dennis
i am still wondering if you have got my question correctly
anyways your method of answering shows that even you know very little of LABVIEW
so kindly stay away from my post

I know more about LabVIEW than you could ever possibly know and I gave you the solution. I cannot help if you do not understand the very, very basics. And, if you would pay attention to the help, you would see that in fact, there is a dialog box with an enable input. Please don't me or anyone else for your own shortcomings.

which part of" STAY AWAY FROM MY POST" do you not understand?
let me know if you want me to translate it into any other language if you are not very comfortable with english

What part of case statement did you not understand? I am not the one with an English or LabVIEW problem. You are deeply disturbed.

Jalashwa,
You need to put the One Button Dialog inside a case strucure. Search the ni example finder for "simple case" and you will find an example.
And show some respect to the Knights of this forum while your at it. They do a lot for people like you and I.
Kind Regards

though i do agree with you regarding the knights, it should also be kept in mind that the kinights should not be too arrogant
they have thorough knowledge of labview that is why beginners like look upto them for knowledge, it seems that they are the masters of the universe
if they have so much trouble explaining the details of a problem it is better that they post nothing
by the way thanks for your solution seem to have got it for now
with warm regards

It's not arrogance, more like irritation when someone keeps asking the same question when an answer has already been given.

Masters of the Universe, no they are not. But they do have far more knowledge than you do, me too. And that knowledge deserves a little more respect than what you have shown. True, the Knights can be a bit cross at times, but put yourself in their shoes. Folks don't mind helping beginners, that's why we are here, but we do expect a little due diligence on your part to try and answer some very basic questions on your own before posting.

You have been given some good advice on this thread, and the fact that folks have to repeat themselves shows the problem with explanations rests with you.
By the way, your questions, in my opinion have been answered, so I saw no reason to give any advice, only advice on forum etiquette.
