They already sent me my ordered items so there is a happy end of this story.

When you got in touch with someone from LTR, did they say anything about why the sudden disappearance and whether or not any archives will ever be available??

No, I talkded with them only about my order. I don't know why they did it and when any files will ever be availble.

I can't speak for LTR but what I know is that the sale of all activities to an unidentified party has been finalized.  What this other party plans to do with the assets (source code, articles, etc) I have no idea, but it wouldn't surprise me much if that was not what they were after, so it may simply disappear in the big void.
