LV 2009 RTE uninstall

What is the proper way to uninstall the LV 2009 RTE?

It does not appear in the Programs list (i.e. add/remove), even under National Instruments.

Thanks,

Battler.

Thanks Mathan.  I had no idea it was going to be so tricky.

Perhaps NI has something more to say about it...

Hi Battler

I have mention to you that msiexec.exe has a command line option. So why not use Google and search for ->msiexec command line

Google is your friend;)

Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted
(Sorry no Labview "brag list" so far)

Hello battler,

The reason why LabVIEW does not let you remove run-time engines because many NI applications have dependencies on he RTE (SignalExpress, LabVIEW Example Finder, drivers utilies, etc). If the RTE is removed, it could break all of the software. Were you able to uninstall the RTE following the steps in the other thread?
