LV RT gives me 'Failed to Load' Error Message after upgrade to DAQmx 7.4

I upgraded my system to 7.4 and got the following error message:

RT Target Errors
Current RT Target
RT::0
Error List
LabVIEW: Failed to load shared library c:\ni-RT\system\niidaqsvr.dll on RT Target Device

My software will not run.

Please help me...

Were you careful to reinstall DAQmx 7.4 on your real time controller as well as your host? Which controller do you have? Let me know and we will go from there. Have a great day!

Hi and thanks for responding.

I may have indeed gotten my versions out of sync.

I have, as of this morning, uninstalled all NI software and then re-installed LV7.0,LVRT7.0, and NI-DAQ7.1. This appears to have solved the problem, however, I will probably need to upgrade to Ni-DAQ 7.4 at some point in the future.

Maybe I'll make a trial run on a system that isn't being used by my clients.

Hello!

Getting your versions out of sync can def. cause that issue. You should have easily been able to get your versions in sync. when you had DAQ 7.4 installed by simply uninstalling the software currently on your controller then reinstalling. The whole process takes very little time. It can all be done from the software folder under remote systems. Please let me know if I can provide more detailed assistance. Have a great day!
