LV Runtime 6.0 alongside LV 2010?

I have an old executable Labview file that requires LabView Runtime Engine 6.0. I also have the full version of Labview 2010 installed on my computer. Will there be any issues with installing Runtime 6.0 alongside my existing LabView 2010 software? I don't want to accidentally overwrite anything and have to reinstall LabView.

Thanks.

the runtime will be fine BUT, I hope you won't need any Device Driver support.  there is no version of VISA, 488.2, DAQ...etc that supports both versions of LabVIEW.,

Hi jtay,

Yes you can install multiple run-time engines along with LabVIEW on the same computer. Multiple LabVIEW runtime engines will exist separately, and the target machine will be able to run the executable using the runtime it was built with. You can install as many runtime engines on a machine as you would like, and they will not interfere with one another. Sincerely,
