LV6.1 How to set multicolors in a register control

Dear All,

I would like to change the color of a single page of a register control.
I found the property multcolor.
As long as it is set to false I can change the color of the hole register control.
But how do I change the property for the color of a single page,
if I set the property multcolor to true?
How do I address a single page of the register control?

Thanks for your help

Hi TiTou,

thanks for your reply.
As I use the german version I maybe used the wrong synonym
, sorry.
Could it be tab control?

Hi TiTou,

thanks for your again very fast reply.
Could it be that the example opens only in LabVIEW 8.2?
Than it can take some time until I respond, as I have to install 8.2 first. 😉
In the moment the highest version that I have installed is 8.0
and with this version I can not open it.
A short reply would be nice.

Warning for for LV 6.1 users of this example.

I BELIEVE (not sure on version number  Smiley Sad ) LV 6.1 had a bug where attempts to set the color of a non-visable page of a tab control would crash LV. Smiley Surprised

Work-around was to check the visability of the page and conditionally write the color only if "visable = true".  Smiley Wink

Also, for LV6.1 users, those Page refnums should be closed to avoid the old memory leak problem if this code is going to be run repeatedly (e.g. in a loop of some kind).
