LV61 crash lining-up of 2 case strctrs & shift-register (while loop).

LabVIEW 6.1 crashes if you try to vertically line up two case structures (within a while-loop) with a wired shift-register. It is probably a bug in LV6.1. Refer to attached images. OS is Windows 2000

Hi Gerwin,

I have reproduced exactly your situation under LV 6.1 and Win2K, I didn't get any crash with several vertical-horizontal arrangement tools.
I think you should try to report this problem to NI support service.

Good luck,

Alberto

Good luck,

are you sure you reproduced it exactly? did you shade the shift register as shown as well as the two case structures before doing an equal vertical gap?

using win2kpro and labview 6.1 mine completely crashes/closes with no error messages, probably because i'm not running dr. watson.

INTERESTING PROBLEM!!!

I can't reproduce it either and I've got the same setup with win2k and 6.1.

Yes, I've also tried to mantain the same dimensions and proportion of objects in diagram and selected both shift registers and case structures, but I don't get any problem.
I have Win2K Pro and LV 6.1 FD.

Have you checked the event register of Windows to see if the crash was registered? This could be an additional information for NI support.
