LV8 Save as Dialog

am I the only one that is driven nuts by the Save as option?

I have a vi open in memory and I want to save it as another name and every time I get the new dialog I see Red,  I know what I want to do, and half the time I cant figure out how to get the new dialog to do what I used to do almost without having to think about it.

Ever time I get this I shut all vis, and Go to windows to do the copy or I have to open it with labview make changes roll the dice to see if I get the dialog to do what I want.

There must be a way to ether get the old dialog as the default,  or give me a button that lets me do what I want.  This has got to be one of the most agravating things in LV8x and its still in LV8.5

Hello,

I don't see you problem?

Select "Save as" then "copy" radio button.

Then "Open additional copy" select whether or not the new copy should be added to the current project/library and press "Continue...".
The "Create unopened disk copy" will also not replace the old one, but make a copy on disk without opening it.

This will open a new copy in memory and also leave to old one in memory. It doesn't replace the old as the "Substitute copy for original"  will do.

André
