LV8 slower than LV7 ?

Why my LV7.1 (with IMAQ Vision 7.0) application is very slower (1300ms / 710ms) with LV8.01 (with VDM 8.0) ?

My PC is a P4 with XP pro.

Hi,

Test perf lv7-lv8.vi run faster with LV7.1 (1350 ms) than with LV8.2 (1970 ms).

My computer is  DELL Intel Dual core with XP pro with NI Vision 8.2.

I had this problem with LV8.01 and I believed it will be solved with LV 8.2.

Does anybody know when this problem will be solved

Sorry, I dont have IMAQ installed, so I cannot test.

One thing to look out for when doing benchmarks to compare versions (You did not say if you actually did that.):

Make absolutely sure that you save the entire herarchy of your project in the new version before doing any benchmarks. A freshly converted, but not yet saved VI or subVI will be significantly slower and use more memory until everything is saved in the new version. You did not write if you actually did that.
