LVRT 7.1.1 under Vista

I have an MKS MultiGas FTIR analyzer.  Its installation disk installs LabVIEW 7.1.1 (lvrt 7.1.1).  The host computer is running Vista..  When I try to run their software, Windows gives a message that lvrt 7.1.1 is either not a Windows program or the file is corrupt.  I tried reinstalling with no luck.  The instrument make says they have not tested on Vist.

Is lvrt 7.1.1 Vista compatible?

Hi,

Our support pages show that LV RT 7.1.1 is not a Vista compatable run time, it only shows 8.2.1 working for Vista.

This is probably why Vista is throwing up "unknown program" errors, I have had a look through some others forums and found no information regarding other users getting 7.1.1 to work under Vista, Sorry!
