LabVIEW 2011 SP1 Crash
I am using LabVIEW 2011 SP1 for quite long time but today I have found few crashes accidentally. Also these crashes am able to re-create all the time in my PC, this is what I do
- In Getting started window open Empty Project
- To the project add Targets and Devices>> Real Time PXI
- In Real Time PXI right click and create a VI
- Drop some functions into the vi and close the vi without saving it
- Close the project also without saving
Result: The Getting started windows fails to load and when you close the empty vis it keeps on opening new vis. (Go to View and select Getting started window to see the error message below)
Also after getting the carsh when I try to open again an Empty project I am getting this crash.
In one more scenario I followed the same steps as I have given above and instead of closing the vi after creating it in RT I tried to drop a Picture function (Programming >> Graphics and Sound >> Picture Plots >> Polar Plot.vi) and suddenly LabVIEW got crashed.
My System Configuration
OS: Windows 7 (64 Bit)
RAM: 4GB
LabVIEW 2011 SP1 (32 Bit)
