LabVIEW 2018 Crash

Has anyone been able to get LV 2018 to run?

I've tried 2 downloads on 2 machines, and it always crashes on startup.lvcrash.png

Yes, it worked for me. Windows 7 x64 bit OS, LV2018 32 bitness.

edit: did you install the LV2018 on machines where were already previous LV instances installed?

Did you try a reinstall/repair install so far?

edit2: and i found some rather general list of advises, like this: https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z000000P9TXSA0

I have it running on a Win 10 x64 VM.  The only version of LabVIEW on this VM is LabVIEW 2018, 32-bit, with the Vision Development Module + necessary Device Drivers.  Seems to (mostly) work (I'm documenting My Favorite Feature, which seems to have a few bugs, but that's another issue ...).

I've been using 2018 for a few week now without any major issues.  This is with the 32-bit version and 64-bit in fresh VMs, and the 32-bit version on a fresh real machine and on a machine that already had lots of NI stuff already.

Paul does the "NI Package Manager" launch for you or does it also crash?
