LabVIEW 8.6 installation in Ubuntu 6.10

Hello frinds,

I  m facing a difficult to install labVIEW 8.6 in ubuntu 6.10. I just copied the files in home folder and then tried to install using the command

sh ./INSTALL.

Then  its started to  install, but giving more errors.

./INSTALL: 1022 /bin/rpm : Not found

follwing that more errors with permission denied.

please help me to install labVIEW. I m very new to linux.
