Hello,
this topic will be focused on
1) Detailed comparison of LabVIEW Base vs. Full and Base limitations. (Miss detailed article from NI included screen-shots of palettes etc. for fast orientation)
In a few days I will have active code for Base Trial, so I will start to compare.
2) How to reach usability of LabVIEW Full more less with using LabVIEW + Add-ons.
NI Free Add-ons
3rd Party Add-ons
Free Add-ons & Apps

Here more materials about comparison, but still very general...
https://www.ni.com/en/shop/labview/select-edition.html
+ in Manual for all functions is information for required system
https://www.ni.com/docs/en-US/bundle/labview-api-ref/page/menus/default/root-mnu.html
e.g. here https://www.ni.com/docs/en-US/bundle/labview-api-ref/page/functions/open-vi-reference.html ... "Requires: Base Development System"

Problem is that I have always used LV Professional. Now in new job there is no license, no HW. So no chance to try LV Base fully.
The crucial for me is no limitation of connecting NI and 3rd party hardware, compatibility of instrument drivers, automation.
Using Classes a lot. Some signal analysis as FFT is hopefully reachable via 3rd party plug-ins.
