We have a beta driver for the 3E using LV 8.6 and LV FPGA.  This new driver includes many new examples and adds more regarding external timing.  Email me and I can get to you via ftp.

This driver is for academic teaching purposes only.

hello!  

i can't use it. permanent error (   : 305002 - the incorrect type of device is plugget to the pc.  

  on my pc installed: Xilinx_ISE10.1.03(WinDriver v9.20 Jungo)+LV8.6+RTmodule+FPGA8.6module+SPARTAN-3E_v1.1beta.

 but xilinx impact work's fine! 

whats wrong ?

It looks like you are using an older version of the installer.  If you are using LabVIEW 8.5, the version on ni.com will work.  We are in the process of moving a new driver for the 3E XUP board that supports LabVIEW 8.6.  If you need the driver now, you will need to email shekhar.sharad@ni.com 

Please be sure to remove the driver before installing a new version.

Hi there

I requested the new Spartan 3E driver for Labview FPGA Module from the local NIdepartment and obtained a alfa-version with nothing new compared to the version for LV 8.5 and a few bugs, and it was told that it's the last version that exists at this moment and the beta-version still in developement .... so I have a few questions:

1. Does a beta-version Spartan 3E driver for LabView FPGA Module 8.6, that is fullly functional and adds new features, realy exist ???

2. If yes, where can it be found?

hi! I have several versions:

a) V1.0, I downloaded it in March 08. this is for LV8.5 or 8.5.1, I do not remember… works fine.
