LabVIEW Interface to TMS320C6201 Evaluation Module

I need to interface LabVIEW to a Texas Instruments TMS320C6201/6701
evaluation module. It's been suggested that I can write VIs with code
interfaces to the DLLs which TI supply with the module. But has anyone
alread done this?

Ideally I want to be able to extract data from the DSP in real time and stor
it on disk at 3.5kHz sampling rate.
