LabVIEW NXG 1.0 installation error. installing package "VISA Shared Components"

Hi

I'm trying to install "LabVIEW NXG " On a laptop with windows 8.1,with no success.

It gets so far, then error 1603 appears.

Attached is an image of the error.

You need to install NI VISA found here: http://www.ni.com/download/ni-visa-17.0/6646/en/

You can then use package manager to install NXG.

Hi acuña,

Are you seeing the same issue with a later VISA package? Could you try the VISA 18.0 package instead?
