LabVIEW Run-time Engine Version 8.2

I develop some aplications in LabView 8.2 and NI Vision, but I wanted them to run in computers without Labview.

De question is that I instaled the run time engine from here:

and it does´t work. I tried in 3 diferent computers and I can´t run the VI´s. The computers are uncable of recognizing the LabView files.

I hope you can help because it is a important part of my thesis.

You also need the vision runtime engine license ($300 USD per installation)  

NI Part 778044-03

Edit: You also need to build the VI into an application.  You can't run the standalone VIs on a system with just the runtime engine.

I guesse I am little desapointed with NI, because I had no idea I would have to pay for an extra licence.
