I'm trying to determine the LabVIEW edition and add-ons that'd be most suitable for our client to purchase.
There are two functions in our system we'd like to implement:
1. Authorization based access to our LabVIEW control system (already built using the base edition)
2. Remote monitoring of sensory instruments
It's been noted that these features can be implemented using both the "Datalogging and Supervisory Control" and the "NXG Web" modules. We can also implement these features using custom-made solutions, however, it seems like these add-ons will make the development a lot easier.
I'd like to clarify what happens when the service plans for these add-ons expires. Can we purchase these add-ons for a 1 year service plan, develop our solution within that year, and rely on the implementation to still work once the add-ons have expired?
