LabVIEW changes colors in different machines

Hello!

I'm having a problem with some VIs and I hope somebody can help me. A friend developed some VIs in one PC, and set the colors for the front panels, controls, and indicators. Then he gave me those VIs and ...surprise!, when I open them in my PC LV has changed the colors, specially in the front panel. Both PCs have LabVIEW 7.0, run Windows XP, and the screen resolution is 1024 x 768. How can I fix this problem? I don't understand why this happens.

Regards!

Robst.

What about the color depth on each machine?  Could one of the machines be set higher than the other?

Thanks por replying.

Hello,

I've checked out the Color Depth in both machines, and both are configured to use 32 bit colors. So, again I have no idea why in one PC the VI has his blue color and in the other the blue becames gray. Any ideas?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Are you using dialog controls? They would adapt to the system colors (let's say he's using the silver Windows XP theme and you're using the default one).

Are the drivers for all the graphics hardware updated?

Is the colors page in the options menu identical in both computers?

If those don't help, you should post the VI.

Hi:

The issue was the System Colors as tst said. My friend is using Win XP with Win 98 look and feel and I'm using a "normal" Win XP, so that caused some color changes in the front panel.

Thanks for the help. Stars for you.
