I am programming the Blackfin 561 DSP using the ADZS-HPUSB-ICE. I am using the ActiveX control of the Stand Alone Flash Programmer (SAFP) provided by Analog Devices and Visual DSP 5.0++ to automate loading the device. I have recently seen problems where LabVIEW suddenly closes, but reports no error messages.
I open an ActiveX session, load the configFile (property node), then try to load the driver (property node). When running this sequence as a stand alone vi, I have no problem running ActiveX. Over the last few months, I have noticed that when running within the internally developed test executive we are using, there is a point where the ActiveX function and LabVIEW closes completely, with no error messages. If I step through the vi as it is running, I can usually see the error is when the property node is entered to LoadDriver.
I am using LabVIEW 2009 (32bit) with Windows XP.
What could cause an error like this?

Hi jcohen
If you are able to see the error when you step through the VI as it is running could you check the error code when it enter to the LoadDriver. If this is not possible, could add a little more information and some screen shoots to the forum in order to get a more clear ideas of what is happening.
