Make the cluster (the one you have fixed) a typedef control (Edit >> Customize Control...). Save the customized control. Then for each of the (horrid) ones Replace >> Select Control >> (new typedef).
If you have any constants of that cluster on the block diagram, it will get really ugly and you could have the same problem. Rather than a huge constant, create a new VI. Place the cluster on its panel. Set values as you want them in the constant and Make Current Values Default. Change the cluster to an indicator. Connect it to the new VI terminal pane. Give the new VI an appropriate icon and save it. Wherever you need the cluster constant in a block diagram, drop a copy of that subVI. It only takes the space of a subVI icon, not the map of Asia at a one to one scale.
