LabVIEW failure with ActiveX container

I have created my own ActiveX component that I have inserted on a VI that is saved as a top level VI in a VI library. My problem is that I sometimes recieve the error "Failure: Windows.cpp, line 5999" when opening the VI library. This seems to happen only when from LabVIEW i use File->Open, select the library and open the top level VI. When opening the library by double clicking on the library file it loads without error. This is on a machine with Windows 2000 and LabVIEW 6.1. Tried the same thing on a Windows 98 machine and now the error occurs when double clicking on the library file and not when using File->Open method.

Mattias,

Take a look at this other developer zone posting. Hopefully it will solve the issue for you. I know it is a slightly different issue, but it has a few suggestions that may help, such as the service pack version.
