Hi All,
I joined a startup last year and we're now doing a research project.
I'd love to use LabVIEW for the project we are doing however, every cent counts at this stage.
I know some companies like Microsoft have startup programs that allow new companies access products free for a period of time. Does NI (Emerson) have anything similar?
Since the buyout NI is part of a much bigger billion $50 billion ecosystem so just checking if anything has changed on this front?

I don't believe anything like this exists.
It doesn't seem like the community edition could be used in this case either as the guidelines mention that it should be used in situations that are non-commercial, non-industrial, and not intending to make a profit.

AFAIK, NI doesn't treat Startups any different from mainstream businesses.

You could try to apply as an NI Partner. That comes with some nice discounts.
But NI is quite selective and expects an NI Partner to either have a substantial yearly sales of NI products or operate in an industry they identify as a core interest and can provide substantial added benefit to the LabVIEW (or potentially another NI) ecosystem. It may also depend on if you have a good sales person in your company that can sell your startup as the best thing since sliced bread to the NI Partner Program managers. But not sure who those would be.
