LabVIEW hangs on program execution

I'm having a problem with LabVIEW hanging...  or better, stuttering, when executing my program(s).  I know it's not an individual program, because it does this for a number of programs that worked previously.

We think the issue is because of a hardware configuration (we had some hardware issues which resulted in this problem).  I have tried, uninstalling all hardware, and then reinstalling it, and also, uninstalling all drivers and software (LabVIEW, MAX, etc.), and reinstalling, but have had no results.

Anyone have a similar problem?

Sorry, a better explanation of the problem would be "the program(s) freeze at random places during execution, sometimes more than once, sometimes not at all, and if you let it hang long enough, execution returns to normal operation."

What hardware are you using?  The reason I ask is since you have found a correlation between your hardware and the undesired behavior, perhaps knowing what hardware is involved may help, or even peak the interest of an expert using that hardware.
