LabVIEW load error code 3: Could not load front panel

Solved!
Go to solution

You can download the LabVIEW Evaluation software (2011 or higher) and try it yourself, or you contact your local NI office. They can maybe help you. But if you used 2011 SP1 and it didn't work, it is quite unlikly that somebody else can help you.

Hi RMathews,

I'm using the LabVIEW 2009 evolution.

Tks a lot!

It opened okay for me in LV 2012, so I back saved it for 2009.

Be sure to give all controls a name.  You can hide the labels on the front panel if  you want.

There is an extreme use of local variables in there that should be cleaned up.

Hello, I have the same problem I can't open a VI it says "Could not load front panel". I tried to fix it by adding  parameter connPaneRecoveryMode=True in Labview.ini but didn't work.

I'm using Labview 2011 but I don't have access to download SP1. I really would appreciatte if anybody can fix my VI for me. I really don´t need front Panel I just want to recover the code.

Thank you in advance.
