LabVIEW load error code 45: An error happened while updating the VI's fonts...

Hi all,

I'm upgrading an old project that was in LV2011 SP1 32b, I have VMWare VM with LV2011 and the whole projet, all works fine.

I copied my source code to a VM with LV2016 SP1 64b, I opened the project, mass compiled it and I only got one issue in the mass compile report for one VI that couldn't be loaded.

When I try to open this VI I'm getting this error message when I try to open a VI with LV 2016, (apparently I'm not the first one to see this message)

A colleague of mine try from his computer with LV2016, he could open the VI but he had the same error for another VI of the project.

Transefring VIs beween his and my computer didn't solve anything.

I also copied the content of C:\Windows\Fonts from my LV2011 VM to the other VM, rebooted, it didn't solve anything.

Anyone has any idea what the issue could be?

I still have no idea what the problem was but I found a work-around.

I went back to LV2011 where it was always possible to open my VI, in there I had a tab control with 10 pages, each page has one cluster control, I removed one page and saved the VI, then it was transfered the VI to LV2016 and I could open it.

Sometimes the answer is just 42.
