Unfortunately that fix did not make it into 2012 SP1. I have PMed you the fixed version and the instructions for installing it.

Got it - thanks Jeff.

Jeff P,

That little patch would be nice to have on hand.  Would you mind PMing me as well? Thanks.

I just observed the behavior for the first time.  Ctrl+Q (File>>Exit) breaks the loop

Hi Jeff,

Did you run into the issue after replacing the Getting Started Window with the version that I sent you, or was this on a computer that did not have the updates Getting Started Window?

Thanks,

The machine I ran into this on does not have the updated Getting Started Window.  Straight up LabVIEW 2012 (12.0f3 32bit)

CAR 386855 discussed in this thread has been fixed in LabVIEW 2013. For a more complete list of bugs fixed in LabVIEW 2013, check the LabVIEW 2013 Bug Fixes. You can download an evaluation copy of LabVIEW 2013 at http://www.ni.com/trylabview/ or if you have an earlier version of LabVIEW installed and an active SSP subscription, you will be able to download the latest version of LabVIEW through NI Update Service.
