LabVIEW proverbs!

Neal,

That counts in my book. You may also want to take a look at the "You know it going be a bad day when ..." thread, where my "A" was

A: After knocking over a glass of wine you reach for ctrl-z.

Not sure if this qualifies as a proverb but here goes...

Q: How do you know when you have spent too much time lately with LabVIEW?

A: When you double click on your desktop hoping to be able to add a free label, and when that doesn't work your first thought is that the auto-tool must be turned off Smiley Very Happy

If your design is crap, then implementing in C, C++, or LabVIEW is just going to give you more crap.

Unfortunately I fried it.

Fortunately it was covered under Best Buy's super-duper warranty and it only took them about a week to replace it. Smiley Happy

Now, when I'm on my laptop I only use spill-proof mugs.

Here's another "bad day quote":

You know you're having a bad day when you look at a VI and suddenly feel like eating pasta for dinner.

You know you're having a bad day when you find yourself commenting code with "This nonsense is only here because xxxx asked for it."

Why're you whining about wiring it that way?

Happens often when debugging someone elsescode and the customer doen't want to do it right... 😠

It is funny to read comments like : " I didn't write this code. This crap was handed to me so don't blame me for this code being crap".

I actually saw that in the code.  Then spoke to the guy who wrote it to ask why he didn't improve the code...  I won't post his answer... 😞
