Hey there i purchased and received the LabVIEW rio evaluation kit 90 day.
I have used LabVIEW for years but am new to FPGA deployment and it configuration environment. And wanted to see how it works
i haven’t installed yet but have a few questions before i start
i have a personal computer its a Mac with the lattest iOS. I have LabVIEW 2018. On it
i got lucky its free for Mac at least the 2018 I haven’t tried to compile exe....
it doesn’t have the database package -bummer
but it doesn’t say student version. Downloaded from NI
has any one tried the evaluation kit on Mac will it work. I’m worried about installing and starting my 90 timer..
2nd question what expires in 90 days? There version of LabVIEW or some other software tools needed
since it appears i have the LabVIEW. Is there a way to keep the rest of the rio kit alive alive after 90 days
Also If i had LabVIEW on a windows envirment.is there a way to keep the rio fpga alive ?
Thanks in advance!

Hi auerdoan,
generic advice: discuss any license issues with your local NI support team. Just call them!

Why should the free RIO evaluation include any database toolkits? Is it advertised like that?

I was referring to the LabVIEW.
i was under the influence that the LabVIEW normally ships with the database library.
