LabVIEW training and certification

Hey all,

I just joined this Community and this is my 1st ever post here.

I am just starting my journey in LabVIEW and I want to have in-depth training from beginning to Advanced level. Then I will gain my certification as well.

Can anyone guide me from where I can start my learning? Is there any on-line training available?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Joohi

Well, did you notice that "Training resources" section at the top of the LabVIEW board?

Check out the Certification Forum.  There are links to practice exams and stuff.  You can also ask questions there.  One of the best learning resources is right here.  Visit this forum even if you don't have a question.  Choose an interesting topic and read it.

The LabVIEW Style Book by Peter Blume is expensive, but worth it.  Even though there hasn't been an update in forever, the things it talks about are ageless - which is why it was never updated.  This would be a great place to start.  Whereas training and certification give you a good grounding in the technical side of LabVIEW the LabVIEW Style Book deals with all the intangibles.  In other words, what makes you a good LabVIEW programmer.

I totally agree!  I bought this book a few months into starting with LabVIEW (but with considerable "other" programming experience), and have read it cover-to-cover at least 4 times.  I keep bugging Peter to update it, even offering to proofread it ...
