LabVNC: Clients Can't Connect to the Server

Installed LabVNC on a Windows XP machine. The LabVNC Server does launch and it takes control of the running VI. However when trying to use a client machine to connect, the browser only times out. Each client machine can ping the server and they can access the remote VI through the Web Browser using http:///monitor?/. Because of this I'm certain I have connectivity from the client to the server. When using the client to access the LabVNC server I make sure I'm using the host ip:5800 in the URL address. Any suggestions?

Yes the Firewall is off. I tried turning the Firewall on and configuring a new port exception at port 5800, still no luck. I tried the install bat again within several different directories of LabVIEW as the documentation does not state which directory to install in. Currently it is unzipped at the top-level LabVIEW 7.1 directory.

When I execute a netstat -ano on the server machine there is nothing running under port 5800. I ran the LabVNC.vi in highlight mode and it seems to go through the steps correctly, start, idle, running. Without the service running on port 5800 I'm at a standstill. How do you get the source code for LabVNC. Has anyone got LabVNC to run properly on Windows XP?

I tried some more things and I am able to see the connection of the client to the server using netstat -ano while at the server machine. At first I have a listen on 0.0.0.0:5800 then I make the connection from the client. The new netstat listing shows an established connection from my server machine's IP and port 5800 to the client machine's IP and port. However the client machine continues to show "The page cannot be displayed". I never get the client password prompt when trying to connect with the client machine, might this have something to do with it? I tried to leave the client password blank while configuring the LabVNC Server, but I get a message that the password can not be left blank and will not accept any client connections until the password is added. My intuition tells me there might be something wrong with the browser prompting for the password or LabVNC sending the prompt for the password. Any suggestions?
