LabView 7.1 runtime

Hi! 
I'm currently working an existing LabView 7.1 runtime interface and I was wondering what I could use to make modifications such as Communication settings. I went to look around and downloaded newer community version (2025), but it did not recognize version 7.1.

The LabVIEW runtime is not something you can "work on". It is used to run LabVIEW executables built in LabVIEW 7.1.

LabVIEW 2025 should be able to open LabVIEW 7.1 VIs. What exactly did you try and what errors do you get? Most likely you are missing some drivers.

I downloaded the 2025 version (community) and tried opening an existing file of LabView 7.1, but I cannot find it through LabView 2025. Do I need the full version for this? Thanks!

What "file"? If it cannot even "find" the file, it is not a LabVIEW problem. I assume you have the source code, right?

What is the exact error message you get?
