LabView and Bently Nevada DA-108

I have reciently come into possession of several Bently-Nevada DA-108's. The original computer interface is now obsolete, but the interface is IEEE-488, so it sounds like it may be possible. There was a rumor at the recient Vibration Institute Annual Meeting that someone had developed a LabView interface for the DA-108. The DA-108 isn't the latest thing, but it a pretty good data accquistion unit. So, does anyone know of a LabView interface?

We do not have a specific IEEE-488 driver for the Bently Nevada DA-108. I looked on their website for more details and was unable to locate anything. Do you have a manual for the DA-108 that would list the IEEE-488 commands? Do you have a program that excercises the DA-108 over the IEEE-488 bus. Our bus analyzer product would capture the command strings and return data format, providing the information to create a driver.

As an alternative National Instruments is working on a similar featured LabVIEW based system as an alternative to the Bently products. I would be interested in learning more about your use of the DA-108 to see whether our LabVIEW and data acquisition solution would meet your needs.
