I work for Strain Monitor Systems
I'm looking for some information of how
to make LabView interact with a VRML
file. I am working on a project that uses
LabView to monitor structures, but at the
same time I have VRML models of such
structures.
The way it works is:
From the monitoring input, a decision algorithm
runs a VI that has a "traffic light" made out of
simple booleans that use the "TRUE" input to
make the traffic light go green, yellow, or red.
But on the VRML models there are objects that
represent the real sensors installed on the
structures.
What I'm looking for is a way to make those objects
in the VRML models to change their color according to
the color of the traffic light.
I know that on the VRML UTF-8 c
ode there are "fields"
or comands like "switch" that make the objects to change
their appearance, and these fields also use a type of boolean
to operate.
If anyone can help me, I will appreciate it.
