LabView compatibility Raspberry

Solved!
Go to solution

Dear All,

I'am new in the LabVIEW community since is the first time I need to use it for my studies.

I know that it is now possible to use LabVIEW with the Raspberry ( I have the model 4 B).

I have seen that the global idea is to download LabVIEW and then use the LINX Toolkit to write the code on the Raspberry.

The information that I am looking for is which version do I need to download since the Raspberry is working on Linux ?

Do I need to download a Linux version of LabVIEW or a Windows version and then just use the LINX Toolkit ?

I am sorry to ask this really basic question but I did not find this precise information.

Thank you in advance,

Thomas

Hi Thomas,

You will download LabVIEW for the computer which you are developing on (not the Raspberry Pi). If you download the "Community Edition", which sounds like what you want if you're doing hobby stuff, it will come with the LINX toolkit as well.

This is a great tutorial by Chris Cilino to get started.
