I am currently running LV 8.2.1 on 2 different 64-bit Win7 computers.  Both work when booted into the "XP-mode" which by default runs at 32-bit.

Since 8.2.1 is older than 8.5.1, I would expect no problems when you commute to Win7.  So far no one in my lab has had any problems that I know of with their older versions of LV and Win7.

2009 also works (by word of mouth, haven't confirmed).

Best of luck.

Note: My version 8.2.1 can only access 1 core of my CPU at a time in Win7.  Even under heavy math, one core will be maxxed out and the others effectively "idle."  This may cause some issues if you are running simulations or other apps with a lot of cpu requirements.  This could be because of Win7, my old LV model or the 32/64-bit switch.  Too many variables to nail it down; I just go with what works.

Thanks a lot for your help.

So I just installed LabView embedded for Blackfin 8.5.1 on Windows 7 64bit and it works even without 'XP mode' also with the USB-emulator and VisualDSP++ 5.0. Notice: The DVD-setup isn't running on W7 (error -12) but you can install all moduls separatly by using the setup in the modul folders of the DVD.

I'm happy, thanks..
