LabView upgrades

I have been using LabView 7.x for quite a while now and have started using LabView 8.x recently.Adding new features is certainly good , but everytime changing the appearance of icons does create signiicant trouble for users.I don't see any reason to change the looks with every upgrade.It's like , though one knows LabView , still he has to get acccustomed everytime when he switches to a new version.Why can't NI just add new features without altering the older icons ? Also it's bit dificult to trouble shoot the vis , when you switch from one version to another just due to varying appearance.Why can't NI just stick to one standard appearacne  and also keep adding features/functionality without changing the standards for looks ?

I know its a difficulty for few days but then you start liking it.

I love the new System look that labview gives to your icons and functions. You can now make your front panels look more close to the Instrument front panels.

You can always use the Classy Control panel to have your Front panel look the same.

You are absolutely right.

I will be more specific ..when you go from LabView 7.x to 8.x , even the IMAQ subvis looks different.I am not talking about the looks of user interface , that has to get better with better computers.But how does appearance of IMAQ subvis ( and so the others) that are the building blocks in block diagram , makes them better or worse ?
