I tried out your scenario and I have the same thing happen. If all else fails, you could make fake labels, or you could make a seperate display that is programatically connected to the chart. But I programatically managed to make the labels show. I have it attached. You will input the name of the VI that contains the chart (make sure it is in edit mode), then press "Show Labels", which will show them. Then, you can edit them. You can also hide them, but remember you can only do this programatically. The program is unlocked so you can see what I did. The program was made into LabVIEW 7.0. Hope it works!

Your welcome (I didn't know I could make programs in 20 minutes!). By the way, I realized I had a bug. So here is the fix (it is saved in LabVIEW 7.0).
