Labview 10, Unknown values Distributed System Manager

Hi everyone,

I am using Labview 10 for a short time now.

I am doing the developement with Labview 10 on a Windows XP pc.

When I build the version, and want to connect to the OPC server (OPC.SimaticNET), there is no problem, I can see all the variables with their values in Labview and in the Distributed System Manager.

But when I copy the builded version ( so exactly the same version) to a pc which is running on Windows 7 32bit with the DSC-runtime module on it, the values of the variables are not shown anymore.

The values are coming in at the pc side, because I can see the values with OPC Scout.

In the Distributed System Manager I can see that the variable is created, but at value I see the text "No known value".

I hope that someone can help me to solve this problem.

thank you so much for your post. On the development PC you did add the OPC client to the project, created shared variable and binded these to the OPC client in your project?

Did you add both libraries to the build of the executable? You are seeing both libraries on the runtime PC?
