I am a metalurgical engineer at Praxair/Lince industrial gas company.
10 years ago, I puchased a LABVIEW 2010 Linux distribution here in Budapest.
LABVIEW 2011 linux full version was shipped during the support time.
My problem: I wrote a simle VI which is a DATA LOGGER at industrial enviroment.
Unfortunately the PC where the software was broken down because of the hars enviroment.
The problem is this: I have:
- Labview2011 Linux
- NI-DAQmx Base 3.4 driver
and NI USB 6008 device
I follow the same instalaltion steps as was sent from NI 2011, but the software cannot be installed because the OPEN SUSE 11.2 Linux kerner has been changed and not compatible any more with the NI-DAQmx driver. And I have no option, to download older DAQmx drivers than the 16 version.
Labview2011 linux can be successfully installed for the new PC, but the USB6008 cannot be used, because of the incompatibility od NI-DAQmx driver and the updated kernel system.
I tried to install the software offline but it not works.
Pease help me, I only want to use the purchased software at 2022 as it is.
