Labview 2021 and NI-DMM driver?

I was about to do the switch to Labview 2021 but no matter how much I search, I can't find a NI-DMM 2021 installer - neither in NIPM or on ni.com

  • Will NI-DMM 20.0 work with Labview 2021 and instill into it's directory?
  • Has Ni forgotten something here?
  • Did I miss an announcement

NI's releases this quarter are not cohesive.  For instance, TestStand 2021 was released a week after LabVIEW 2021, but it was late enough to not be included in the Automated Test Suite.  And NI-RFSA and NI-RFSG 21.0 were released 2 weeks after LabVIEW 2021.  So just keep checking every once in awhile.  My conjecture:  It should be released soon.

I can only tell you that the last "NI software platform bundle" which up to now always included a complete set of NI software and drivers also does not include a 2021 version of the DMM-driver:

https://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/377942e.html

So it seems to be correct that you cannot find this. However I cannot answer your other questions...

according to my tests, FGen, HSDIO and SWITCH are also missing.

let's hope they will be published soon ...

Thank you all - happy to hear I'm not crazy.

I would really have preferred NI to be upfront with this - releasing Labview 2021 without several drivers supporting it - and not writing that in big letters - is not playing nice.

Had a new project starting now - and was about to jump on the 2021 wagon - but without any official dates on the missing tools and drivers from NI, I'll be reluctant to do so.

I'm pretty sure you can use the current drivers with LV 2021 and update the drivers when the new driver DVD comes out.

While I understand the reason for this, not having a "one-fits-all" offline installer is the key reason we are skipping this release.

We'll wait till the Fall version. Hopefully that gives NI time to bring compatibility forward so there is a at least a version of a driver compatible with the toolsets.

I just noticed NI-DMM 21.3 was released a week ago!  Same for USB-845x and NI-DCPower.  I haven't gone through the rest of my list yet.
