Labview 6i Start Failure on Toshiba Satelite (line 1232 in window.cpp)

Tried the usual suspects - deleted temp directory, changed graphics settings (NVidia GeForce2 GO) and tried both the original NI-DAQ 6.8.1 and 6.9.2 and 7.1

In every case the internal error, line 1232 in window.cpp occurs prior to the splash screen being displayed.

Any suggestions welcome. Ta

Hi Colin,

I have looked into this issue for you and found a previous case of it happening on an IBM Thinkpad Laptop. Unfortunetly it seems that it must be something very specific to these two computers as there are only two cases of it happening in about 3 years.

One thing I've been asked to get you to try is to download and install the evaluation version from the following link and see if the error still occurs here.

We need to establish if this error still occurs on the latest version of LabVIEW (this is 7.1 but we don't yet have evaluation software for this yet, but 7.0 is a good starting point for the test). Depending on the results of this tes
t I can go back to the R&D department and possibly get them to look into it further.
