Hi everyone,
I have Labview 8.2 (Student License) which was bundled with an engineering textbook. I installed it, activated it but everytime I run the program i get the error "Unable to open resource files" even before I see the splash screen. I have tried almost everything but I cant get it to work. Can someone help me please.

Last semester my school provided me with a semester long license for Labview 8.2 but I dont remember if it was a Student license. After it expired, I uninstalled the program but it gave me a couple of errors during the uninstall and I had to ignore them to complete the uninstallation process. I reinstalled the version I currently have about 3 times by doing a complete uninstall and a fresh install but that has not helped. I have a feeling this problem has something to do with the old version that did not remove completely. Is there any way (apart for formatting my disk) to remove all trace Labview files and registry keys from my OS? I run Windows XP.
