Labview 8.6 driver support for PXI6071E multifunction IO card

Solved!
Go to solution

I have PXI6071E multifunction IO card with PXI 8176 controller. I used LabView 7.0, RT 7 and DAQ traditional, i could get remote connection with all device visible in MAX.

Presently i tried LabView 8.6 and DAQmx8.9, for above configuration, i could have PXI chassis in MAX remote PXI, but i can not see PXI 6071E device in remote PXI.

Is it any body know that can i use PXI6071E with LV8.6. or have to use older version only? Or still i have to install some things else?

Thanks

Hi Vishnu,

Good afternoon and I hope your well today. Thanks for the post!

I believe LabVIEW 8.6 is supported by DAQmx 8.9. And that DAQmx 8.9 supports the PXI6071E.

Firstly, I would make sure that you've installed DAQmx onto the target, and included supported for LabVIEW. I would also ensure this installation was done last, you must install software, modules, then drivers. I would maybe suggest reinstalling the DAQmx driver.

Are any other cards seen? Maybe suggest another slot if possible. But I'd suggest checking the installation first.

Hope this helps,
