I am currently building a Magneto-optical Ellipsometry to be used in some optical measurements. I need a software for instrument controlling, data acquiring as well as data proccessing. I have been advised to use labview, on the other hand i m a beginner. I have found all the instrument drivers of each indvidual devices, which surely saves lots of time.
As you can see from attached file,
set-up consists of a Laser (USB interface), a Photoelastic mod.(GPIB), aTemperature cont.(GPIB), aPower supply(GPIB), a Gaussmeter (RS 232), a multimeter (GBIP), 2 locki-ins (GBIP). I have drawn the algohritm of the measurement process that i want to perform, that can be seen in the attached file.
Is there any similar example that might be done alreay by Labview? Could you please give comments on how to realize such architecture by using labview.
