Hi All,
I have labview core 1 2014 version but I am having problem playing the tutorial videos. Once I try to open the videos a browser opens but it will get stuck trying to load the material. Does anyone know how to fix this?

What is "labview core 1 2014 version"? Do you have a link to the videos? What is their file format? What is your default browser?

Labview core 1 is a training package our company received from Labview instructors. It has a CD that comes with the training package which contains different examples and exercises. One of the folders contains shortcuts to tutorial videos. The link leads to an html file in the installed package. This is one example of a link C:\Core1\Exercises\LabVIEW Core 1\Multimedia\Module 1 - Mechanical Actions of Boolean Controls\story.html. The default browser is internet explorer but I even pasted the link in chrome and it still has the same problem.
Thanks

This is a known problem which came after some update (from Java I think). A workaround that worked for me, most of the time, was looking the folder corresponding to your video and double-click the html5 or swf file. Either of those should work.
There is another workaround but I can't remember sorry...

I tried directly opening the html file but it still didn't work.

Did you try these three files ?
Have you tried on another web browser ? They work fine for me on Mozilla Firefox.

Sorry to read... Maybe you should contact your local branch Support. They might have access to the other workaround.

I will have to do that. Thanks for the suggestions though!

It's been a while since I've taught the course. When I ran into this, there was a workaround with the Flash settings to mark the saved location as "safe." Tinker with those settings (or at least take a look at them).
