Labview Driver for SR860

Hi,

Is there an available labview driver for SR860? When I browse the NI drivers, I can only find SR865 and SR850. Does it mean that the driver for SR860 and SR865 is the same? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Lorenzo,

why don't you try both drivers?

And read the manual of your device to compare the commands given in your manual with those which are used in these drivers: I bet they are very much the same, with only small differences in some options…

Thanks for the tip. I am trying to use SR865 diver since it is the closest to SR860 in terms of functionality. However, it is not as straight forward as it seems like. Were you able to use SR860 before?

Hi Lorenzo,

it's been ages when I used a Lock-in amplifier…

In general I use those device drivers from NI as "educational example" and usually end up writing my own device driver: it's a nice exercise! 😄
